Refund Policy

Last updated: May 2026

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If a Broadside licence does not meet expectation, we will make it right.

30-day money-back guarantee

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund for any reason. No questions asked. Because our products are digital font files, there is nothing physical to return. Just email us.

How to request a refund

Email info@broadwides.com with:

  • The email address you used to purchase
  • Which licence(s) you would like refunded
  • A brief reason (optional, but it helps us improve)

We reply within one business day to confirm.

Processing time

Once approved, refunds are processed within 2 to 3 business days. The refund goes back to the original payment method. Stripe may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to post the credit to your statement, depending on your bank.

After a refund

Once a refund is processed, your licence is revoked and you must remove the typefaces from active production work and delete downloaded files. We do not use DRM or remote kill-switches; this operates on good faith.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to refuse a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund of the same licence, or where files have been redistributed in breach of the licence.

Consumer rights (UK)

Our goods come with statutory rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where digital content is faulty, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or a refund. Where the fault is minor, we may choose to repair, replace, or refund. Our 30-day no-questions policy goes beyond the minimum statutory requirements. If you have an unresolved concern, you can contact the Citizens Advice consumer service (citizensadvice.org.uk) or the Competition and Markets Authority.
